LMEA Transitional Homes

Men of More

Luther Martin Evangelist Association (LMEA) transitional housing is one of the
many aspects of the ministry that is making a change within the community. LMEA
transitional housing is a 6-month program for newly released parolees who are
without a home or approvable address. The transitional ministry adheres to set
guidelines for enrollment. There are two phases offered throughout the duration
of this impactful journey.

Phase One [6-month duration]
First, an application is submitted for admission to the ministry by an MDOC
case manager.
Next an interview is scheduled.
Then applicants who are accepted into the program will be a part of the
following:
• Weekly and daily chapel call and devotion
• Mentor and Discipleship
• Job and Soft Skills Training
• Parenting Classes
• Financial Classes
• Outreach Opportunities
• Job Search and placement

Phase Two [extended duration]

Graduates of Phase One who have displayed a Christ-like lifestyle during their
6-month training, will have the opportunity to phase into the second half of
the housing ministry. Residents are expected to continue their Christian
journey more independently, while adhering to the ministry’s guidelines and
regulations. Phase Two residents can take part in:
• Leadership Training
• Participation in School of Evangelism
We believe in the truth of Ephesian 3:20. “Now unto him that is able to do
exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power
that worketh in us.” LMEA ministry believes that only Christ can change a
person’s heart truly. A heart that turns to look to Christ is a miracle that
can’t be denied.
